Welcome to JT's! We appreciate you stopping by and letting us tell you a bit about us.
After struggling to find high quality contractors and general help around the Oakhurst, Jim Tosh ("JT") aimed to serve the community by bringing his skills and love for making homes better. This resulted in the founding of JT's Home Maintenance.
Jim grew up watching his Dad build his childhood home and working for his General Contractor Grandfather doing everything from concrete forming, to framing, to light electrical, to tile installation, to finish carpentry - and nearly everything in between.
On the other side, his maternal Grandfather was a landscaper and Jim spent multiple summers working in landscape doing everything from hardscape, to irrigation, to plant design.
Through his entire adult life, Jim has spent time on home improvement and repairs for his family, friends, and neighbors. Now he is bringing this experience and service to Oakhurst and the surrounding communities.

We strive to help Oakhurst and the surrounding communities love their home through quality, affordable, reliable, and cheerful service.
Maintaining a home can be a lot of work, especially in the Sierra Foothills. This gets even harder when life is busy with a job and raising a family. Aging also makes things harder. At a time when you most want to enjoy the fruits of your hard work, it starts to take more out of you.
Jim understands that life gets in the way and it is his mission to help the entire community Love Your Home by providing high quality service at an affordable price, and be dependable while doing it.
